PermitGrab is built to hand you the contractor who pulled the permit — useful if you sell to contractors or want to sub to a GC. A contractor looking for their own next job wants the filing where no contractor is named on the permit, and that is the one thing a contractor-of-record feed cannot contain. It is the only thing we sell.
Fair to them: 804 cities against our corner of one county, and a larger data set with owner and violation layers. If you work outside San Diego, or you want the contractor of record rather than the owner-pulled job, they cover ground we do not.
