Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Groundwork website and weekly permit-feed subscription. Groundwork is a service of Prompt Flow LLC ("Groundwork," "we," "us," or "our"), based in San Diego, California. By using the website or subscribing, you agree to these Terms.
1. The permit feed
Groundwork filters public City of San Diego building-permit data and sends qualifying permit leads by email. The feed is intended for contractors and other businesses evaluating potential work. Lead availability varies by trade, area, source-data completeness, and week.
2. Plans, billing & cancellation
- The paid permit feed is currently $39/month, billed through Stripe, and renews monthly until cancelled.
- Subscribers receive the qualifying weekly digest for the trades and area recorded at checkout. The number of leads may be lower than the product cap when fewer leads qualify.
- You may cancel at any time through the billing tools provided by Stripe or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals; amounts already charged are not automatically refunded.
- We may change pricing or product details for future billing periods with reasonable notice.
3. Data, links & verification
- Permit information comes from public government data and may be incomplete, delayed, corrected, or unavailable.
- Groundwork provides permit numbers, source references, map links, and other available fields so subscribers can independently verify a lead.
- Groundwork does not guarantee that a project is available for bidding, that an owner will respond, or that a subscriber will win work.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for using the feed lawfully and for independently evaluating each opportunity before contacting anyone or undertaking work. Do not use the service to harass, spam, misrepresent, or violate another person's rights.
5. Acceptable use
You may not copy, resell, scrape, or redistribute the paid feed as a competing service; interfere with the website or APIs; attempt to access operator-only endpoints; or use the service for unlawful activity. We may suspend access for abuse or nonpayment.
6. Disclaimers
The website, data, and feed are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, a particular number of leads, accuracy of third-party data, or any business result. Third-party services, including Stripe, Resend, Vercel, Google Maps, and the City's data systems, may change or experience outages beyond our control.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prompt Flow LLC's total liability for a claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three (3) months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the new version here with an updated date. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
