Groundwork is a service of Prompt Flow LLC ("Groundwork," "we," "us," or "our"), based in San Diego, California. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through the Groundwork permit-feed website and subscription service.
1. Information we collect
- Subscription information. We collect your email address, selected trade, and selected ZIP codes or service area when you sign up for the free or paid feed.
- Payment information. Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We receive subscription and billing status, but we do not store your full card number.
- Communications. We collect messages or requests you send by email so we can support your subscription and respond to area or trade changes.
- Usage information. We may collect basic technical information such as browser type, device type, pages visited, and approximate location through standard web logs and limited analytics.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the free samples and paid weekly permit digests you request.
- To process billing, prevent duplicate purchases, and manage cancellations or opt-outs.
- To respond to support requests and maintain the security and reliability of the service.
- To comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. How we share information
We share information only with service providers needed to operate Groundwork, such as Vercel for hosting, Stripe for billing, and Resend for email delivery. These providers receive only the information needed to perform their services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
4. Public permit data and third-party links
The permit feed is built from public City of San Diego data. Emails and pages may link to third-party services such as Google Maps or City websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
5. Data retention and choices
We retain account and billing information for as long as needed to provide the service, operate the business, and meet legal requirements. You may unsubscribe from free email or request cancellation and deletion of account information by contacting us. Transactional records may be retained where required by law.
